Art graduated from Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology Honours standing. In addition to completing his studies at the college, Art was awarded with numerous awards and was on the Dean's list.

Art is professionally affiliated with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) as a member.

Art is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Technology Degree Program on a part-time basis at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. The program was launched in 1997 and is the only one of its kind in Canada. Upon completion of the program and with additional PEO requirements, a P. Eng. designation will be achieved.

As a part of our Forensic Visual Services Unit, Art specializes in scene surveys, and is an AutoCAD expert. In addition, Art is developing forensic modeling as part of the Unit.
