Brian holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Ryerson Polytechnic University and is a licensed professional engineer.

Prior to working in the field of forensic engineering consulting, Brian worked in the manufacturing industry performing design engineering and project management on an international level.

He specializes in truck and heavy equipment fires, vehicle fires, mechanical failures, and product liability services, and has been qualified as an expert in court.

Brian's technical training includes educational seminars on gas and electric fire investigations, project management and vehicle fires.

His professional affiliations include the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI), and the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).
