John Coull CFEI, CFII, CCFI-C
Fire Investigator

John is the Manager of the Mississauga Branch ofice and specializes in structural fires and explosions. His background includes 18 years with the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force and 8 years with the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office (OFM).

During the course of his career with the OFM and Origin and Cause, he has conducted more than 1,700 post fire and explosion investigations. John has been accepted as an expert witness in criminal and civil courts, and Coroners Inquest.

John has published 6 articles on various subjects relating to fires and fire investigations and has presented lectures at fire and police colleges, as well as for various fire departments and insurance professionals.

He is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI). In October of 1999, John was awarded an Honorary Life Membership by the Canadian Association of Fire Investigators (CAFI).
