Working out with the Kingston area, John specializes in fire and explosion investigations.

John has over 10 years experience with the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office, as well as 18 years as a Police Officer and Police Sergeant with Peel Regional Police, 4 years with the Ministry of Environment and one year with the Province's Special Investigation Unit.

John has attended numerous educational seminar and courses related to fire and explosion investigations, both as a student and lecturer/presenter.

John has investigated hundreds of fires and has been qualified numerous times as an expert witness relating to the investigation of fires and explosion.

He is a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI), the Canadian Association of Fire Investigators (CAFI) and the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).
